SHREVEPORT, LA-   Shreveport man arrested for violent domestic incident

In the early hours of March 24th, at approximately 1:35 a.m., Shreveport Police Officers responded to a call in the 800 block of Roselawn Street regarding a domestic disturbance. During their response, officers were informed of a man allegedly threatening a juvenile with a firearm at the scene.

Upon arrival, officers took 32-year-old Bertram Howard into custody. Howard faces charges including one count of domestic abuse aggravated assault, one count of domestic abuse battery, one count of domestic abuse battery with child endangerment, and one count of obstruction of justice.

Thankfully, due to the prompt response of law enforcement, no injuries were reported in connection with this incident.
