Shreveport Man Arrested on Multiple Firearms Charges

SHREVEPORT, LA-   Shreveport Police and Shreveport City Marshals arrest 35-year-old man on multiple charges

The Shreveport Police Violent Crime Abatement Team and Shreveport City Marshal Deputies have arrested Rodrick Wallace for multiple offenses.

On March 26, at approximately 6:30 a.m., officers conducted a search warrant in the 4700 block of 5L Westwood Park. During the search, officers located a stolen firearm and a significant amount of Schedule One narcotics.

Wallace was taken into custody and charged with the following:

- One count of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm

- illegal possession of a stolen firearm

- One count of possession with intent to distribute Schedule one narcotics

- Resisting arrest

Additionally, Wallace was found to have an outstanding warrant related to a 2023 incident involving flight from officers.

Suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
