Shreveport Police Arrest Felon With a Firearm
On August 16th, 2023, around 10:01 a.m. Shreveport Police investigators were conducting a follow-up investigation in the 2900 block of Peach Street. Upon arrival, officers located a man that was armed with a handgun and a small amount of narcotics.
Officers detained the man and found that the armed man was Quintin Stricklin (6-28-92).
Further investigation into the matter revealed that Stricklin was prohibited from possessing a firearm due to being a convicted felon for numerous felony offenses. Stricklin was arrested on one count of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and one count of misdemeanor possession of schedule One.
We are required to advise that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
