Shreveport Police Make Arrest in June Shooting
SHREVEPORT, LA- Man Arrested in June Shooting
The Shreveport Police Department has arrested 31-year-old Matthew Tate in connection with a shooting that occurred on June 9th in the 500 block of West 76th Street. Tate is accused of the shooting, which resulted in the victim being struck in the arm. The victim was transported to a local hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
In addition to the shooting charges, Tate has also been charged with illegal possession of stolen property, as he was found in possession of a recently reported stolen vehicle.
Matthew Tate is currently in custody and faces charges of aggravated battery with a dangerous weapon and illegal possession of stolen property.
