
Shreveport Police Seeking Suspect in Burglary Case
Shreveport Police Department responded to a reported burglary in progress in 2025 in the 900 block of Portland Avenue.
The victim saw a man on their surveillance cameras pulling up in a gray SUV, which dropped him off in front of the home. The suspect is described as a Black male wearing a gray shirt, black pants with a stripe, and a white hat, approached the home and broke into the garage by climbing through a broken window with the assistance of a folding chair.
When the victim got home, she saw the suspect exiting the garage. The suspect fled the scene on foot, running south on Portland Avenue before turning west onto Murphy Street. During his escape, the suspect left behind a shoe, which was collected as evidence.
The suspect may go by the name “Kenneth,” though this has not been confirmed.

"Investigators are releasing an image of the suspect in hopes that someone from the community may recognize him. While the image quality is limited, distinctive clothing or physical characteristics may assist in identifying the individual.
