For about a decade, every time football fans in Louisiana settled in to watch their team on Sunday they knew they were about to see a familiar face during the broadcast. But it wasn't a player or coach that would consistently be featured on those broadcasts, it was someone in the commercial breaks that everyone knew they were going to see. We knew her as Lily, and she was going to tell us about AT&T.

The actress Milana Vayntrub is best known as Lily from AT&T, even though she's had mainstream roles in TV and film. She appeared in the films Life Happens and Ghostbusters (2016), and in television series like Lizzie McGuire, The League, House of Lies, Silicon Valley, and This Is Us. Even with all of her mainstream film and TV work, Vayntrub is still be known as Lily from AT&T.

But where did Lily from AT&T go? Why aren't we seeing her on TV anymore?

Recently the site The List dug into the mystery behind the disappearance of Lily (Vayntrub) on TV. As it turns out, she hasn't really disappeared completly, just from the AT&T commercials.

In 2024 alone, Vayntrub appeared in the comedy movie Bad Shabbos, the Netflix series Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story, and filmed the movie Project Hail Mary with Ryan Gosling. So she's been pretty public, and pretty busy...just not as Lily.

According to The List's story, she's decided that her time as Lily is over. In their story, they reference her appearance on The Podcast 'Trash Tuesday' where she said:

"I'm no longer doing the AT&T commercials. That's been kind of a chapter end. I think 10 years is kind of a nice benchmark"

So what's next for her? Well, she's going to continue to work in film and TV, and that means you'll keep seeing her. But she's also started a podcast recently...based on the fact she's also started a family.

One place you likely won't see here is social media. She's quit almost all platforms, except for a random occasional Instagram post.
