12th Night is the annual kick-off to Mardi Gras and here's everything you need to know for our celebration in Shreveport-Bossier City, LA!

I don't know about you, but I'm ready to kick off the 2024 Mardi Gras season and let the good times roll here in Shreveport-Bossier. With that being said, you might wonder what might commemorate this auspicious event. I'm so glad you asked! It's an annual party we call '12th Night' here in the Ark-La-Tex.

This year's 12th Night celebration will be hosted by the Krewe of Centaur on Saturday, January 6th at the Bossier Convention Center. This party is a favorite of revelers... which just might have something to do with it featuring an open bar. If having bottomless drink cups isn't enough to entice you, how about music from DJ Faze?

Tickets are $65 for adults and $40 for minors. You can purchase them at the door or via the Krewe of Centaur website. In addition to an open bar and entertainment, it's also your chance to see and meet all of the new royalty from our area krewes who will be introduced during the program which starts at 8 pm. But don't think you have to be a member of a Krewe to attend, this event is open to the public and they encourage folks new to Mardi Gras to attend! BTW, the dress is Mardi Gras festive/casual/no shorts.
