5 Types of Moms You’ll See During Back to School in Shreveport
It's back to school time here in the Shreveport-Bossier City,LA area. Moms, are you ready? Which category do you fall into?
I'll be honest, I've always been that kid and later the step-parent that loved back-to-school shopping. It's the excitement of a new year, the power of possibility, and new beginnings. And most importantly, new clothes and school supplies. There's just something about a new notebook or binder that hasn't been through the wringer yet. Plus, I have a thing for school/office supplies!
A few things before we get to the '5 Types of Moms You'll See During Back to School in Shreveport.' Here are the official back-to-school dates for our area.
Bossier Parish: First day - Thursday, August 10th for grades 1-12, Thursday, August 17th for kindergarten, and Thursday, August 24th for pre-kindergarten
Caddo Parish: First day - Wednesday, August 9th
DeSoto Parish: First day - Monday, August 7th
Webster Parish: First day - Thursday, August 10th
And just in case you've been blessed with a little extra, the United Way of Northwest Louisiana is 'Filling the Bus' again for local schools. You can stop by any of these locations with your donation!
