What a fantastic suggestion! I'll be honest, the only time I've been to the R. W. Norton Art Gallery is for photoshoots, and since they don't really allow that anymore, I haven't been since. It's time to rectify that!

I know that there's a growing disc golf following here in Shreveport-Bossier with tons of places to play and if you have your own discs, most of the places that you can play at are free. Check 'em out here.

I'm a big fan of hiking and anything dog-related, so it's no surprise that I like this idea. Here are some great walking trails in our area.

Don't laugh, both Shreve Memorial Libraries and Bossier Parish Libraries have a ton of programming that they offer.

I'm not sure they allow the accompanying wine that my friends and I indulge in on game night at public parks, but you don't have to go to a park...

I don't know if Noble Savage charges a cover when they have live music but a lot of the shows at Hurricane Alley in the East Bank District in Bossier are free.
