Geek’d Con 2024: Do You Remember This Forgotten Cartoon
Only weeks out from the 18th of August we are getting more and more excited for Geek'd Con around here in Shreveport, and our celebrity guest of focus today is actor and DJ Efren Ramirez. If you haven't watched the hit independent film Napoleon Dynamite open up Hulu and go watch it as soon as you get the chance, a movie that everyone should see at least once. Now that you've finished watching Napoleon Dynamite and come back to finish reading this article I have to prompt you to something else to watch, the Napoleon Dynamite animated series from 2012.
The animated series lasted only 6 episodes, airing on Fox, lasting only from January to March of 2012. It was rushed to air as a mid-season replacement for the failed Fox animated series Allen Gregory. Sadly the Napoleon Dynamite animated series met a similar fate as it was canceled after only one season and six episodes. The show was given the production support of 20th Century Fox Television and had the full cast from the original movie reprising their original roles.
When the show primaried it rated nearly 9.5 million viewers before dropping off to 4 million viewers or less for subsequent episodes. Though here in the United States, the series was only aired once on television it found new life on Canadian television in 2015 when both Adult Swim Canada and Teletoon at Night syndicated and ran on air up until 2018.
If you're interested in checking out the show before Geek'd Con 2024 it can be purchased on iTunes or Amazon Prime Video or you can watch the show for free with advertisements on Tubi.
