New Eatery Opens Up in Old Daq’s Pines Spot in Shreveport
There Is One Spot in Shreveport Where Lunch Options Are Limited.
West Shreveport desperately needs more options when it comes to lunch. May of 2022 was an exciting time for several folks in West Shreveport that go out to lunch. Daq's opened up right off of I20. There were big hopes and dreams for the wing and daiquiri spot. The excitement was short lived for Daq's. Daq's on Pine took to their Facebook page to make the sad announcement the post said "Daq’s would like to take the time and let all of our followers know we will be closing permanently tonight at 9pm here at Pines Rd! We would like to invite everyone to continue to come to Daq’s but to Daqs Wings & Grill on Youree or Daq’s Wings & Grill Shreveport". The building has been empty since February.
Whataphilly Made the Move to the Old Daq's Building on Greenwood Road.
Whataphilly is a concept created right here in Shreveport by a man who really loves Philly cheesesteaks.
