Shreveport Residents Are Proudly Celebrating the Release of HBO's Latest Film.

This Max Original has captured the attention of several film lovers because Dylan O’Brien snagged the leading role. the film stars Dylan O’Brien and Eliza Scanlen. Some claim they only watched the film to see O'Brien back in action. You may recognize O'Brien from "Teen Wolf" or "Maze Runner". However, this film caught Shreveport's attention because it was shot right here in our very own backyard.

The Robinson Film Center Is Uniting the Community For Free Screenings.

The Robinson Film Center announced that they would have free screenings of "Caddo Lake" and the community responded tremendously. So much so that there are more screenings available. "If you missed out on tickets to see Caddo Lake on the big screen, you're in luck! We have added a second screening of this locally made film at 5 p.m. Oct 23. Due to overwhelming popularity, these tickets will go fast! Please only reserve a seat if you will be able to make it. This is a free screening to the public. What Is the film about? According to IMDB, this drama, mystery, thriller film follows a scary disappearance. "When an 8-year-old girl disappears on Caddo Lake, a series of past deaths and disappearances begin to link together, altering a broken family's history."

This film was originally titled "The Vanishings at Caddo Lake" and was filmed in 2021 The film is produced by M. Night Shyamalan’s Blinding Edge Pictures. A Shreveport native who many of us know and have been following, David Forshee supervised the sound mix, he just won a 2024 Emmy for his role in the sound editing on "Ripley"
