A Shreveport Favorite Has Suddenly Closed Its Doors.

If you have ever been to Dripp Donuts on Texas Street in Downtown Shreveport you already know they make some of the most incredible donuts and they have added so much life to Downtown Shreveport. We are so grateful that Dripp set up shop in Shreveport, but, they have closed for an undetermined amount of time.

Shreveport DDA took to its Facebook page to address Dripp's sudden closure. "By now, many of you are aware of the structural issues with the Dripp Donuts building at 421 Market St. The Downtown Shreveport Development Corporation is working diligently to determine the repairs / stabilization solutions required. They hope to have answers very soon."

There Seems to Be a Work Crew Ready to Handle the Situation.

You can see some heavy equipment lined up ready to work. The entire building is blocked off preventing people from entering the building. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Dripp crew.

The Question the Community Has is "How Can We Help?"

For now we wait on the Dripp family to tell us what they plan to do to until the building can be safe again. What is the secret to helping a wonderful crew like Dripp survive something like this? We wait and watch for the Dripp crew to announce pop-up events and we support them. Dripp Hot Chicken can be found at Great Raft Brewing and we are almost positive that we will see the Dripp crew around town.
