Peppa Pig Theme Park In North Texas Installs First Rides, Opens Later This Year
When my daughter was much younger I used to sit on the living room floor with her in our Tyler, Texas home and watch and laugh right along with her as she watched Peppa Pig on Nick Jr. Laughing at Peppa, Mummy, Daddy Pig, and George as he splashed around in the mud puddles. Great times. I was even known to imitate Daddy Pig and make his grunting pig oinking noises just to make her laugh even more.
She's outgrown that now but it's fun to think back to those times when she was little. Parents like me are making those memories today but they'll soon be able to make memories in a whole new way thanks to a new theme park opening in the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex.
Parents will make special memories with their children at this place!
Peppa Pig Theme Park Dallas/Ft. Worth is scheduled to open later this year and will be located in North Richland Hills, just north of Ft. Worth adjacent to the HRH2O Waterpark.
Construction on the park is underway.
A few of the rides for this new kid-friendly theme park were completed this week and are ready for opening day later this year. (WFAA) This will be the second Peppa Pig Theme Park in the U.S., the original Peppa Pig Theme Park is located in Winter Haven, Florida.
The new park will cover 14 acres and you'll be immersed into the world of Peppa Pig and it'll leave you feeling like you're in the actual cartoon with Peppa Pig herself. The park will consist of rides, play areas, including splash pads, shows, shopping, and dining. Just a typical amusement park, but for the younger kids.
As of the writing of this article, there is no opening date for the park, just sometime in 2024, but it is coming together and soon families across Texas and elsewhere will have an 'oiking' good time.
