These are Some of the Worst Reviewed Products On Amazon
I am a huge proponent of online shopping. Yes, I know I am single-handedly destroying my local economy by not shopping local, but sometimes my purchases are too specific.
Plus, I know what I'm getting (for the most part) when I shop online. It's as easy as a few clicks, give the internet my personal information for whatever they want to use it for, and BAM, extra large butter dish is heading my way.
It turns out that not everyone is pleased with their purchases on Amazon. In fact, gobankingrates.com identified the worst-reviewed products on the site that customers have ordered. Here are some of my favorites:
Black+Decker 3 in 1 Waffle Maker
17% of the near 8,700 reviews gave this product 1 star. Some reasons include the design and application being severely outdated, some pieces are loose and don't fit properly, and the injury risks from exposed heating elements.
Levoit Air Purifier
Out of 7,700 ratings, 16% offered 1 star due to issues with the Wi-Fi connection, issues with the touch screen usability, and poor customer service.
MightyDuty Car Essential Oil Diffuser
In just over 6,000 ratings, 18% gave 1 star. Reasons for these poor reviews included the fact that the quality was very low and it broke easily, it has a very short lifespan, and adding oil drops would ruin the device.
LtYioe Mini Humidifier
14% of the 20,000 ratings for this product were 1 star. Customers complained about the issues with charging the device and the fact that the lights would flicker and not always work. Other reviews stated the humidifier would simply stop working after a while.
So, there you have it. As great as online shopping is, you are still subject to faulty products. Luckily, most distributors have a customer service link that USUALLY works out...
