A customer at a Walmart store in Central Louisiana said a dangerous snake was in her shopping cart, while in the store.

According to a social media post by Nerri Denegalll Brown, a baby cottonmouth snake was spotted in her shopping cart at the Pineville, Louisiana Walmart.

Brown says in her viral social media post that she did not notice the snake until another customer pointed it out, and she says that the snake was where she'd normally have her kids in the cart.

In the post, she reminded everyone to be observant when shopping, and it's not a bad idea to remind you that snakes and other reptiles are on the move as temperatures rise throughout the summer.

Again, we are in an area of the country where many things show up where they may not belong, thus you should always be aware of your surroundings, especially when outdoors this summer.

Here's the viral post that has caught the attention of many. One last thing, we don't know who may have removed the snake from the store.
