New Orleans Police Respond to Mass Shooting Sunday Night
A woman was killed and 11 others were injured in a mass shooting in New Orleans on Sunday night.
The New Orleans Police Department says that the shooting happened in the Warehouse District on St. Peters Street.
This tragic shooting comes as the city was wrapping up its annual French Quarter Festival this weekend, where thousands attended.
When police arrived on the scene, they found the woman dead on a sidewalk, and others injured in the street. EMS arrived on the scene of the shooting and transported victims to nearby hospitals.
Police are still investigating this mass shooting and we will provide more information here as soon as authorities make them available.
