There is some terribly sad news for fans of Chuck E. Cheese. It's doing away with its iconic animatronic band at all but one location nationwide.

Earlier this month, the company announced that the animatronic band would remain at one location in Northridge, California, which is near Los Angeles.

Munch's Make Believe Band -- featuring Mr. Munch on keyboards, Jasper T. Jowls on guitar, Helen Henny on vocals, and Paqually on drums -- will henceforth be exclusively and permanently at the Northridge location and that's it.

The company said that the other 400+ locations nationwide will now focus on modern renovations that offer multi-activity options for all ages.

There will be some new attractions and those include: an interactive dance floor, a giant video wall, more arcade games, and new trampoline zones.

So, we guess that when you're sitting and eating your pizza, you'll just have to, well, sit and eat your pizza without watching the coolest and baddest band in the land.

The company is expected to announce more changes leading up to its 50th anniversary in 2027.

If you want to check out the newly re-imagined Chuck E. Cheese, you can still do that in several locations across Louisiana.
