After two previous attempts, the Rolling Stones finally debuted at New Orleans Jazz Fest Thursday, and lead singer Mick Jagger had a jab for Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry according to WDSU.com.

Mick Jagger decided he wanted to call out the Governor for his policies, while the Governor decided not to remain silent about what he thought of Jagger deciding to comment on his policies.

Jagger started the sparring during his time on stage when he said the following,

We're a welcoming crowd, aren't we? I hope Mr. Landry is enjoying the show. He's real inclusive you know. He's trying to take us back to the Stone Age.

Jagger then posted this at around 3 a.m. Friday:

After his comment on stage, Governor Landry gave his reply via X, and used a Rolling Stones song as part of his comment:

The Rolling Stones were supposed to play Jazz Fest two times before, but life got in the way of either performance happening. The first stumbling block was that Jagger had heart surgery. The second time is was the COVID-19 pandemic which wrecked the chances of the Rolling Stones appearing that time.

Plenty of actors, musicians, and other famous individuals have used their international platforms to give their opinions and thoughts on how other people handle their business. Some people like it when these celebrities give their opinions and others have expressed fatigue with many of these figures telling others how they think things should be.

You get to decide what you think. What do you think about what Mick Jagger had to say about the administration of Governor Jeff Landry? What do you think of Governor Landry's comeback to Jagger?
