Jason Collier Has Been Arrested

Why are we so obsessed with Jason Collier? Simply put we are grateful it isn't us. Let me give you the spark notes version of this police chief in Stinnett, Texas or should I say ex-Police Chief.

Jason Collier was arrested by Texas Rangers Thursday evening according to MyHighPlains.com. Collier had resigned at some point before his arrest. The Stinnet Police Department also confirmed that the adulterous police chief had been taken into custody. Collier has been charged with tampering with a government document with the intent to defraud.

Many residents from Stinnet, Texas started calling for Collier's removal from the police department after his alleged mistresses all came out and exposed his countless affairs. Cecily Steinmetz from Amarillo posted to Facebook saying she was engaged to Collier before she learned he was married. Who loves Facebook drama? We do! So the post went viral and the story even made it across the pond all the way to the UK.

Turns out England enjoys a good Texas two-timing cop as much as we do and the story is way more riveting than anything Prince Harry and Meghan. I mean it's a story about a married police officer on several dating apps, what could possibly go wrong?

I have joined a Facebook group that is dedicated to Jason Collier memes, jokes and most importantly lover updates. Do I regret all the time I have spent dedicated to finding out who the other mistresses are? Absolutely not.
