For LSU, one of the biggest games of the season is already here.

We're entering into another full weekend of college football. The beginning of the season is reserved for non-conference games. Essentially, these games are meant to give a team in-game experience without the weight of conference play looming overhead. However, not all of these games are a walk in the park. Some games can be real resume builders if you can manage a win.

LSU has that game this weekend.

The No. 6 Tigers will be facing the No. 9 Longhorns of Texas. Yes, somehow UT was able to move up a slot after a walk-in-the-park win over Louisiana Tech. Sorry LATech, but that was supposed to happen. And even though, I don't believe #TexasIsBack, it will be a big game for both teams and LSU can't sleep on the Longhorns. Plus, Austin isn't an easy environment to play in.

If LSU wins, it will be the first time the Tigers have defeated an AP Top-10, non-conference opponent on the road.
