UPDATE: Man and Woman Wanted for Several Crimes in Shreveport
UPDATE: Samuel Flores and Jenson Prudhomme have been captured after a stand-off with police.
A tip led police to a home on Conley Avenue in Hall Summit. According to officers, everyone exited the home upon their arrival except for Flores and Prudhomme. After an hour-long stand-off, they surrendered to authorities.
ORIGINAL STORY: Shreveport police are searching for two people wanted in connection with several felonies throughout the city.
Detectives say 32-year-old Samuel Flores has been named a suspect in the July 25 armed robbery of Pelican State Bank. He's also accused of being the gunman in a shooting that left another man wounded on August 17 in the 3300 block of New Moon Drive.
Investigators have a warrant charging Flores with armed robbery and attempted second degree murder. They say he is considered to be armed and dangerous.
Detectives have also gathered information linking 25-year-old Jenson Prudhomme to Flores, and suspect the two may be working alongside each other. Prudhomme is wanted on an outstanding warrant for principal to burglary of an inhabited dwelling in connection with a break-in at a Shreveport home in early August.
Authorities believe the pair may attempt to hide out in wooded areas near Heflin. Anyone with information on where they might be is urged to call Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373. A reward is being offered if either suspect is arrested.
