Clearly, the folks that came up with this treasure aren't from Louisiana!

If you've ever been to New Orleans during Mardi Gras, you know it doesn't smell like roses.

Let's be real here. Mardi Gras is all about getting your sin out before the Lenten season. If you've ever experienced Mardi Gras in New Orleans, you know this. Bourbon Street has a nasty soup of vomit, stale peer, and urine coating the streets and permeating the very air by nightfall each day. Why in the world would anyone want to smell like that?

I'll never forget working in radio in New York. They didn't think a Tuesday club night would be successful, so they decided to throw a 'Fat Thursday' party instead. It was obvious they didn't do their research and no one was listening to me, so... Fat Thursday it was. I bring that up because those are the kinds of people that I think would buy this body wash.

You can purchase Softsoap's Limited Edition Mardi Gras scented body wash locally.

The best, or the worst part about this depending on how you feel about it, is that you can get the Limited Edition Mardi Gras scented Softsoap body wash right here in town. According to my Walmart + account, I can pick it up today at the Bossier City Supercenter. The reviews describe it as being reminiscent of their discontinued Honey Suckle and Orange Peel scented body wash. I guess that would explain the orange on the front of the packaging.

So what do you think? Are you going to give it a try? After all, it's only $3.97 for 20 ounces at Walmart.

For fun, here's what Twitter had to say about this *ahem* unique offering.
