Marriage Proposal Highlights Richard Marx Show at the Strand [VIDEO]

Eighties superstar Richard Marx on September 6 at Shreveport's Strand Theater was, for many, the musical highlight of the summer. But for two local lovebirds, the evening turned out to be an event they will always cherish...one that included a marriage proposal!

Marx, while taking a short break, called the couple to the stage, then handed the microphone to the cool-as-a-cucumber fellow who, after first mentioning how much they loved Marx and his music, dropped to one knee and made his proposal of marriage official, all to the delight of a cheering crowd and Marx, who dedicated his next song to their lifelong happiness.
