If you've got a spare 16 million lying around, you could have yourself a beautiful seaside California home that has ties to Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett. The axeman is putting his home in the Sea Cliff community on the block for a reported $16 million asking price.

According to Curbed San Francisco, the Spanish Colonial-style house is currently the fourth most expensive listing in the San Francisco area. It's a four-bed, four-and-a-half bath, three story home perched above China Beach that includes a spiral staircase.

The home was built in 1926, complete with vibrant tile work, red-tiled rooflines and turrets and huge picture windows overlooking the ocean views. There's also classic dining and living rooms, a remodeled kitchen, a large family room and a grand foyer with classic wood ceiling, walls and flooring and a large master bedroom with bay windows and a large walk-in closet. It's no secret that Hammett is a big horror movie buff, and as you'll see in a few of the pictures, some of the rooms have a number of framed classic horror movie posters.

Other highlights include a manicured garden, a bronze mermaid fountain, a mud room, a two-car garage, a telephone alcove, a unique wrought-iron chandelier above the spiral staircase, a terra cotta balcony and a large multi-level oceanfront flagstone patio offering majestic views from Land’s End to the Pacific Ocean and Marin Headlands.
