After a couple of weeks of whining and complaining, I can report some good news this morning about the lights on I-20. All of the lights on the WB side of the freeway between Greenwood Road and Jewella have been out for a couple of months.

A couple of weeks ago, I contacted DOTD, Swepco, and the city about the problem. It took a day or two to figure out this was the city's responsibility. Crews went out there last week and thought they got to the bottom of it, but the problems were far deeper than just replacing the bulbs.

Crews did testing for much of the day on Tuesday and got to the bottom of most of the problems. But we still have 2 of the 20 lights out. I'm hoping we can get them all burning by the end of this week. Fingers crossed.
