Naked Man With A Shovel Bites East Texas Police Officer

KETK reports that Justin Carsten of Bullard was arrested and charged for resisting arrest and assault on a public servant. The Smith County Sheriff's Office says that Tuesday afternoon officers responded to a disturbance call when they found Justin Carsten who appeared to be high on an unknown substance, naked and holding a shovel.

After he refused to drop the shovel officers used a taser which didn't seem to affect him. When officers were trying to get Mr Carsten under control he bit a deputy on the leg. Both Justin and the deputy were taken to a local hospital where the officer was later released and Justin was arrested and placed under a $30,000 bond.
