You can not say that your not a Ghostbuster's movie fan.. I was 4 yrs old when the first Ghostbuster's came out and have loved the movie series ever since. There are rumors spreading that there is going to be a new Ghostbusters movie. Well if it's true I will be first in line to get tickets to see it in the theaters. Now the best part of the rumor is the Dan Aykroyd is going to to write and help produce the movie. Which is awesome in itself because he is one of the original Ghostbuster's and the movies wouldn't be the same without him. The only sad part is that Bill Murry hasn't signed onto to do the next installment of the series. Aykroyd called into the Dennis Miller show and this is what he had to say about the movie, "Yes, we will be doing the movie and hopefully with Mr. Murray. That is our hope. We have an excellent script. What we have to remember is that 'Ghostbusters' is bigger than any one component, although Billy was absolutely the lead and contributive to it in a massive way, as was the director and Harold [Ramis], myself and Sigourney [Weaver]. The concept is much larger than any individual role and the promise of 'Ghostbusters 3' is that we get to hand the equipment and the franchise down to new blood." So see it's gonna be kickass. Also Dan hinted around on what we can expect in the new movie "My character, Ray, is now blind in one eye and can't drive the cadillac," he says, "He's got a bad knee and can't carry the packs… Egon is too large to get into the harness. We need young blood and that's the promise. We're gonna hand it to a new generation." They say the movie should go into production sometime next year. All this Ghostbuster's movie talk is making me want to go watch the movies. My favorite part was the gaint Stay Puft Marshmellow Man. He was so adorable.. Well my rockers I will keep you posted if I hear anymore new news about this awesome movie...
