Officer Arrested For Domestic Violence
It's been a rough couple weeks for Shreveport Police. Several officers have been arrested or placed on leave over the last couple weeks. Today, another Shreveport Police officer has been arrested and is facing some serious charges.
This a statement released by Shreveport Police Chief Ben Raymond about the arrest of Officer Joshunna Jones:
Shreveport Police Officer Joshunna Jones was arrested on February 15, 2020, by Shreveport Police Domestic Violence investigators following accusations of Domestic Abuse Battery. She was placed on departmental leave pending further investigation. A full administrative inquiry into the incident will take place following the criminal investigation.
Yesterday, Officer Darius Morris was arrested on attempted murder charges in relation to an early morning shooting. On February 14th, it was announced that Officer Janica Allen was placed on while being investigated for simple battery.
