UPDATE: Police say 19-year-old Timothy Singleton has been linked to the Circle K armed robbery. Detectives located him at his home Wednesday afternoon and booked him into the Shreveport City Jail on one count of armed robbery.

[ORIGINAL STORY, April 12, 2016]  Shreveport police have released surveillance photos from last night's armed robbery at a local convenience store.

Police say just before 10 p.m., a man armed with a handgun took an undisclosed amount of money from the Circle K in the 1900 block of North Market Street. No employees were hurt during the robbery.

The suspect was described only as a black male wearing all-dark clothing. Now, police are hoping someone can help identify the man seen on the store's surveillance camera.
