Plain Dealing Withdraws from Playoffs – Coach Tests Positive
Sad news today for one area high school football team. We got this report from Bossier school leaders:
"A Plain Dealing High School coach has tested positive for COVID-19, which has resulted in the football team and staff having to quarantine. This unfortunate situation has prompted Bossier Schools to notify the LHSAA that PDHS must withdraw from the Playoffs. The exposure does not affect the team that Plain Dealing most recently played."
The Plain Dealing varsity football team beat Magnolia School of Excellence at Lee Hedges Stadium on Friday night by a score of 16-12 and that will prove to be the final game for the seniors at Plain Dealing as the result of the virus.
All of the players will now be in a 14 day quarantine.
