Police Arrest 72-Year-Old Shreveport Man For Sex Crimes

Bossier Parish Sheriff's Detectives arrested a 72-year-old Shreveport man for sex crimes against two children.

Officers arrested Jimmy Dillard of Shreveport after a tip came in over the criminal sexual conduct. Dillard lives in the 7300 block of University Drive in Shreveport.

Dillard is accused of inappropriately touching a minor at a residence in Princeton, and also at his Shreveport home. The two minor victims involved in the sexual behavior are both under 13-years-old.

The Bossier Sheriff's Office reports that Dillard admitted to the inappropriate touching with the minors, on multiple occasions, during their interview process.

Dillard has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of Molestation of a Juvenile, which are all felony counts. He was taken to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility where he was booked. His bond was set at $600,000.

Bossier Sheriff's officials say that the investigations into the allegations against Dillard is ongoing. If anyone has any information regarding this investigation, they are asked to call the Bossier Sheriff's Office at 318-965-2003.
