Police Shoot Murder Suspect

Shreveport police were trying to arrest a local man on a murder warrant when that suspect pulled a gun on them.

It happened at the Linwood Homes Apartment complex on Bernstein Monday afternoon. They located the suspect in one of the apartments, but when he pulled the gun on them, officers shot him twice. Cpl. Angie Willhite says the suspect was transported to Ochsner LSU Health with life-threatening injuries.
