See, not only is he dedicated to Shreveport and its future by supporting the refurbishing of some city parks, helping the area's homeless and volunteering his time to the Shreveport Regional Arts Council, but he manages to always put his family first.

And it's actually his partner, Samantha Snyder, who's most thankful for his dedication to his family and his community.

Just look at the nomination letter she submitted and you'll understand why Reid is this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

Reid Martin is the most amazing partner and father to our 3 young children. He works tirelessly at his job as a Senior Project Manager and Director of Business Development at Martin Specialty Coating. His real passion though is supporting the growth and development of Shreveport. His current project, Martin Cares, is all about reinvigorating 5 of Shreveport’s local parks. The lasting impact for our community will be seen for generations to come. The money raised through sponsorships will go directly to the Boys and Girls Club of Louisiana to provide them with reliable transportation for the students who go there after school. Currently they have to walk. He is also a current board member of Shreveport’s Regional Arts Council. No matter who is helping though he is always there for his family first. He is the last one to get a break and is always thinking of others and new ideas for the future. He inspires me and my children to be the best version of ourselves. He is always the one working in the background to make things happen. He isn’t a talker, but a doer, and I am so proud that I get to spend my life with him. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for him and the future of Shreveport. We all love you Reid and thank you for everything you do for us as a family!!

Reid Martin, because you've been 'Caught in the Act' the gang at Silver Star Smokehouse have a $100 Gift Certificate for you and the family to come have dinner!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Reid to let him know that he was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
