Darn, you Mother Nature!!! I know I wasn't the only one who was disappointed today when I found out that the annual Rockets Over the Red fireworks were postponed for this evening because of the rain.

I don't know about you, but I thought this rain wasn't supposed to hit until much later this evening, but instead, it's been a slow trickle all day... just cold and miserable. However, I still would have bundled up to watch the fireworks show. After all, Rockets Over the Red is pretty much the kickoff to the Christmas holiday in our area. We're still going to get to enjoy the show, it's just going to happen one day later... during Yellowstone. Don't judge!

Santa will be on hand tomorrow, Sunday, November 28th, 2021, along with his helpers at Riverview Park from 4-6 pm with music from The Good News from 5 - 7 pm. As I mentioned above, the fireworks are set to 'explode' at 7 pm thanks to Pyromania Fireworks LLC.

Visit Shreveport-Bossier says:

Spend the first Sunday after Thanksgiving celebrating Christmas cheer with the Rockets Over the Red Fireworks Festival. This free, family-friendly Christmas event is a holiday favorite. Attendees can enjoy live music, games, Santa, food and drink, arts and crafts, and more. The evening will culminate with an awe-inspiring fireworks show at 7 P.M.
After two days of Black Friday shopping, you can unwind at the Shreveport Riverfront Park in downtown Shreveport, or at Bossier City's Louisiana Boardwalk Outlets Mall.

With that being said, it's time to set the DVR to record Yellowstone and watch all the latest with Rip and the Duttons when you get back home;)
