A staple on the Saints squad has declared himself "inactive."

New Orleans Saints punter Thomas Morstead spent this past Sunday twiddling his thumbs as a result of the 47-10 beatdown the Black & Gold put on the Buffalo Bills.

The Saints were so hot, they didn't need his services as they dominated the Bills with six rushing touchdowns and zero punts on the day. At one point the Saints ran the ball on 24 consecutive run plays as they totaled 298 yards on the ground once the final gun sounded.

After the game, Morstead had a little bit of fun by posting this photo on social media, declaring himself "inactive" for the day, LOL.

According to ESPN, the Saints had the ball for over 41 minutes compared to only 18 minutes of possession for the Buffalo Bills and outgained them 482 to 198 in total yards.

Hopefully, we don't see much of Morstead for the rest of the season.
