Search Is on for Missing 12-Year-Old Boy in DeSoto Parish

Your help is needed to find a missing boy from the DeSoto Parish area.

The Sheriff’s Office is currently searching for a runaway boy, identified as 12-year-old Johnny Greer.  Johnny is white and weighs about 100 pounds. He's 5’2” tall.  He was last seen at about 5:00 p.m. Tuesday in the 1000 block of Firetower Road in Grand Cane.

Greer was wearing plaid shorts with a blue t-shirt.  He may have left the area riding a  bicycle.  At this time, foul play is not suspected.  Deputies believe he may be headed for Center, TX.  Please be aware of your surroundings and contact our office at (318) 872-3956 if you believe you see Johnny.  Your information may help bring him home.
