Another sporting event has been shut down due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

The Southeastern Conference has announced that they will be canceling the remaining SEC Tournament games for both the Men's and Women's tournaments.

This comes just hours after the NBA suspended the remainder of their season. Which was brought on by an active player testing positive for the illness.

The NCAA has already put a plan into motion to play NCAA Tournament games without fans in attendance, but this move by the SEC may signal a larger plan may be on the way. It is possible that the NCAA could cancel the entire Tournament for men and women.

Over the last 24-hours, there has been a rapid response around the world of sports, with games, tournaments, and leagues postponing or canceling. It's likely that there will be more wide-ranging college, and professional, sports cancellations soon.
