In addition to the big stories we covered today, Wire-to-Wire provides you with some of the other key rock and metal news items from Nov. 29, 2017:

- Shinedown's Brent Smith and Eric Bass recently took part in Bedstock, the one-of-a-kind music festival in which artists are challenged to play from beds for sick kids that are stuck in their beds. The two musicians played a stripped back version of "Second Chance" that you can see above. On Giving Tuesday, over 100 acts performed from beds in a show of solidarity.

- Machine Head's Catharsis CD/DVD digipak will come with footage of the band's performance at San Francisco's Regency Ballroom from back in 2015. As a teaser for the set, which is due Jan. 26, watch this live video featuring the song "Now We Die" right here.

- Tengger Cavalry have announced a Feb. 23 street date for their new album Cian Bi. This will be the band's sixth release, but their first with Napalm Records. Vocalist Nature G. says, "In this album, we used the concept of the Cian Bi tribe, to express the idea of multi-culture development, acceptance of diversity and individual freedom. We believe that through individual choice and identity freedom, each of us can decide who we want to become and embrace every culture around the world as one nomadic tribe - human tribe." You can pre-order the disc here.

- Nikki Sixx will join Devo's Mark Mothersbaugh, photographer Mick Rock and journalist Meredith Grave sharing stories about David Bowie at a Dec. 5 event at the Sonos Store in New York. The Song Stories: Bowie event is free, but you need to register to attend at this location.

- KHDK Electronics has announced the new signature Ghoul Jr. Overdrive micro pedal in celebration of Kirk Hammett's birthday. The Ghoul Jr. is a hyper-powerful overdrive circuit coiled inside a micro-sized box, delivering massive overdrive with a bonus dose of gain that, incredibly, goes past 11. The glittering purple enclosure boasts a ghoulish face created by San Francisco tattoo artist Tim Lehi. Get more info and place your orders here.

- Watain and Destroyer 666 will team up for North American dates in late February and March. The trek launches Feb. 24 in Quebec City and wraps March 31 in New York. See dates here.

- Megadeth bassist David Ellefson, who already has his EMP Label Group, has announced the relaunch of Combat Records. The '80s thrash label will be reborn as an EMP imprint in 2018 with releases from Raven, Dead by Wednesday, Wrath and a limited edition b-sides release from Helstar on the schedule.
