Shot of Fun – Check Out This New Escape Room in Shreveport
This might go down in that "Only in the South" category. I have to admit, I've never done the Escape Room experience, but this sounds like it actually would be hilarious. There's a new kind of escape room coming to Shreveport, but it's only for a limited time.
The local company "Artipsy Studio" is offering a drunken escape room. Yes, a 'drunken' escape room... Obviously this is for anyone 21 or older. But this adds an entirely new level to the escape room experience. According to ShreveportSecrets.com, the cost of the Escape Room is $150 for a party of 6, which is $25 per person. "Find a clue... take a shot..."
But if you want to try it, you should probably make your plans. They're only offering the Drunken Escape Room Experience during the month of October. In fact, it will only be Thursdays through Sundays from 5-10PM during the month of October. The room opens October 1.
It's hard to believe, but escape rooms have been around for about 15 years. The first escape room was created in Japan in 2007, and have since grown to become not only a national, but world-wide phenomenon, with escape rooms now found in over 60 countries world-wide.
In Shreveport there are several escape room options including Red Herring Escape Rooms on Youree Dr, and Escape SBC, with a Shreveport location on Youree, and a Bossier City location.
