Shreveport's LA New Product Development Team has announced their program to not only produce 3D printed face shields, but to donate them to Louisiana first responders.

The company will be shifting their 3D printers to start producing the face shields, which can be used in a medial setting. The company says they already have orders for states like Arizona, Arkansas, California, New York, Texas, and Washington, but will be producing and donating masks here in Louisiana first.

The leaders of the project are Konstantin Dolgan and Onega Ulanova, who decided to help in response to the rising cases of COVID-19, or coronavirus, across the country.

In a release, Ulanova said:

“It feels good to help someone when they are in need. Medical personnel are putting their lives on the line daily to help us. It’s the least we can do since we have the ability to do so”

LA New Product Development Team is a Shreveport based business, whose services include product design, development, and marketing. They regularly work with start-ups, inventors, and industrial manufacturers.
