Shreveport Police Arrest Domestic Violence Suspect

On April 4th, 2023, around 4:45 p.m. Shreveport Police Department Patrol officers were contacted in reference to a report of a domestic incident in the 8500 block of Chalmette Drive.

On arrival, officers contacted the victim and discovered that Jermaine Allen (6-14-83) reportedly pushed the victim to the ground and pointed a firearm at the victim, while threatening to kill her.

The suspect then fled from police and physically resisted arrest. Officers were eventually able to place Allen under arrest. Allen has been charged with one count of Domestic Abuse Aggravated Assault, one count of possession of a firearm by someone convicted of domestic abuse, one count of domestic abuse battery, and two counts of resisting.
