Shreveport Man Arrested On Drugs And Weapons Charges
A Shreveport man is now behind bars after agents found a large amount of marijuana, cash, and several firearms at his residence.
On Thursday, agents with the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Task Unit received information about possible drug activity on North Colony Drive in Shreveport. They conducted an investigation at the residence of 55-year-old Darrell Ray Player Jr. at 6867 North Colony and seized approximately four pounds of marijuana (value: $45,400), 12 firearms, and $32,000 in cash.
Player was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and illegal carrying of weapons with a controlled dangerous substance.
