Shreveport detectives are on the hunt for suspects in a Sunday night armed robbery of a north Shreveport business.

Officers responded to 2910 Kitty Lane at Zips Carwash after getting reports of an armed robbery. Officers arrived on scene and learned that two subjects entered the business and forced the employees into the business office where the robbers demanded the manager put money into a backpack. Both suspects fled on foot.

Investigators with the Robbery Task Force responded to the scene and began the process of gathering information and recovering video evidence. Investigators described the suspects as: Suspect #1 was a black male 5’10”-5’11” in height, slim build, wearing a black Nike hoodie with the word “NIKE” on the front, black pants, blue Nike shoes with white stripe, green gloves, black bandana and armed with a silver and black semi-automatic handgun with an extended magazine. Suspect #2 was described as a black male 5’10”-5’11” in height, medium build, light skin complexion, wearing a black hoodie, black do-rag, black pants, black Nike shoes and black gloves and armed with black semi-automatic handgun.
