Shreveport Police Arrest Man for Home Invasion

On April 10th, 2023, around 12:45 a.m. Shreveport Police Department Patrol officers were contacted in reference to a report of an incident in progress at a residence in the 1235 block of Pecan Street. The caller told dispatchers that a man that whom she had a restraining order was breaking in.

While en route, officers located a male matching the description of the suspect leaving the area. Officers then contacted Rodrick Jeter (11-18-1986) and discovered that the victim in this case had a restraining order against him. Further investigation by Shreveport Police Patrol officers discovered multiple many facts and circumstances that led to the arrest of Jeter.

After responding officers conducted their investigation Jeter was arrested for one count of Home Invasion, two counts of property damage, and one count of Violation of a Protective Order.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
