Robbery detectives with the Shreveport Police are working to find the person who attempted to rob a bank around lunch-time on Valentine's Day.

Just before 12:00 p.m. on February 14, 2017, Shreveport Police officers were called to the Freestate Boulevard location of Chase Bank, where they learned a man entered the business and presented an alarming note to the teller regarding his alleged intentions. But before the teller could comply with his demands, the suspect turned and fled the business empty-handed.

The man was described as a black male who stood approximately six feet, with a beard, sunglasses, and wearing a tan long sleeved shirt. The bandit was reported to be last seen driving off in a lime green colored vehicle, possibly a Mitsubishi Mirage.
