Shreveport Store Closes in 11 Days – What’s Left?

We have told you the bad news about a Shreveport store on Youree Drive shutting down. Now we can tell you the doors will lock for good in just 11 days. The Bed Bath and Beyond store has been on the list of stores being closed by the company.

I moseyed into the store on Monday to look for something specific and got lucky. I needed a couple of rugs for my bedroom and thought I might find a pretty good deal. Boy did I. I wandered around the store a bit and spotted a bin full of throw rugs and a wall of rug runners for the side of the bed and I started digging. They had exactly what I wanted.

The price on the rugs I found said $60 bucks. So I got them each for $30. I was very happy and I actually bought an extra one in case one of my gets beat up by my sweet pup.

They still have lots of things left in the store and everything is half off right now. I expect that will change to 75% off before the doors finally close. 

I didn't really need anything else, but I did find a bin with a bunch of beach towels. I swim just about everyday and I could use a new towel. These were marked $25 bucks which means I paid $12.50. And these are plush thick towels. I'm glad I found them.

Now, if you are looking for sets of matching towels, you won't find that. Most of the sets have been sold. But they do have lots of random mix and match towels. They also had a bunch of fancy shower curtains.

I saw lots of bathroom knick-knacks and plush throws as I wandered the store. I didn't go all the way to the back of the store to see the supply of sheets and pillows, but there were a bunch of folks back there sorting through stuff.

It will be sad to see the store close, but you might find some great deals as these final days approach. They are also planning to sell all the fixtures before shutting down.
