Shreveport’s 7th 2022 Homicide Victim Was Shot Up to 10 Times

Shreveport records the 7th murder of the year. It happened on Haywood Place in the Hollywood Heights neighborhood. The shooting happened early on Monday (2/7/22).

27 year old Shawndawian Whitehead was shot ten times in the back. Police are currently searching for suspects. This murder happens just a day after Shreveport's 6th homicide of 2022 15 year old Qwan Jones was killed inside a home on Flournoy Lucas.

Whitehead died just before 11:40 a.m. from the multiple gunshot wounds in the 4900 block of Haywood Place, in Shreveport.

This murder is still under investigation and the story will be updated as more information is forthcoming.
