A change that has been in the works for a long time is now visually taking place in Shreveport.

Bally's Corporation completed their acquisition of Shreveport's ElDorado Casino back in 2020. A deal that costs over $140 million between Bally's and Caesars Entertainment. But it's taken almost a year for the visual aspects of that purchase to be implemented in town. Today was that day.

The company is taking down ElDorado logos and lettering, and replacing them with the Bally's logos. But it goes beyond the logos on the outside of the building, the inside is getting revamped too.

From dice to cards, table game mats to betting chips...Bally's logos are landing all over inside the property too. Including access to the Bally Rewards Players Program. But the whole rebranding inside (and out) won't be completed until the end of 2021.

Bally's President of Retail, George Papanier, said in a release:

"ElDorado Shreveport represents the latest step in our ongoing portfolio diversification strategy, expanding our rapidly growing geographic footprint into the attractive Shreveport/Bossier City market. ElDorado Shreveport is a first-class, premier entertainment asset that is emblematic of the iconic Bally's brand. With the close of this transaction, we are looking forward to integrating Eldorado Shreveport into the Bally's family, and implementing our proven strategic initiatives to drive growth and revenue improvements."

The newly labeled Bally's Shreveport included 1,401 slots, 54 tables, and 403 hotel rooms during the 2020 sale.
