It's 2016...and yeah, it's still kind of weird to say (and write down on paperwork, I've jacked that up WAY too much this year) and to think about. You know by the second week in February, it won't even be a thought when you go to write /16 on something. But, it will continue to get weirder as the year moves on.

Especially when you start to look at the rock songs that our aging with us.

Like a song hitting the decade post this year from a then-unknown group, Stone Sour. I remember the arguments popping up like it was yesterday:

"That's the singer from Slipknot singing like that"

"No it's not! He's not screaming"

"Screw you dude, I know its the Slipknot guy, I read it in an ICQ chat"

Well, 10 years later, we DO KNOW that it is in fact Corey Taylor on the vocals for Stone Sour. Even though this cut was a BIG step from where Taylor was with Slipknot it 2006, both of his bands have musically drifted towards each other in the last decade. Slipknot has had some very mellow stuff, and Stone Sour has gone all agro with some of their more recent albums.
